Consultant, CNS Medical Managed Markets Strategy, Pharmaceuticals

Summary

Our growing, mid-sized pharmaceutical client has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Medical Affairs consultant to assist the Director, CNS Medical Managed Markets Strategy in the development and execution of Medical Affairs scientific plans for Payers and other Health Care Decision Makers (HCDMs).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director, CNS Medical Managed Markets Strategy in the development and execution of Medical Affairs scientific plans for Payers and other Health Care Decision Makers (HCDMs)
  •  Assist with the creation of HCDM resources that effectively communicate clinical, economic, and humanistic value (e.g. pipeline, disease state education, pre-approval information exchange, health care economic information, population health programs)
  • Assist with the development of customized value propositions/messages for HCDMs
  • Assist with identifying, analyzing, and communicating evolving payer, policy, and healthcare landscape insights
  • Assist with HCDM evidence generation projects
  • Other duties as required

 Required Skills Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Science Degree Preferred (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD, PA, NP)
  • Mid-level Medical Affairs strategy consultant with a strong understanding of and previous experience with managed care, health systems, and pharmacoeconomics
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent
  • Experience working with agencies/vendors to execute projects
  • Proficiency in pharma code and all guidelines concerning Medical Affairs activities
  • Experience effectively leading and executing Medical plan tactics, including the development of field resources for payer/HCDM engagement
  • Knowledge and proficiency of Veeva Promotional and Medical review processes preferred
  • CNS experience is highly preferred

Term & Start

  • Fully Remote role (40hrs/week) able to work EST hours
  • 12-month contract, open to extension
  • 2 Video Interviews - Start 2-3 weeks from an offer
